The OCN Blizzard had a rough weekend when they went to face the Portage Terriers for two games.
On Saturday the OCN Blizzard struggled the most they have this season with a 7-2 loss to the Terriers. Ashton Paul and Sam Zagari were the lone scorers for the Blizzard during the game, both during the second period. At the 28:34 mark Head Coach Doug Johnson did something we haven't seen him do a single time this season, swapping Ethan Farrow for Chase Hamm to "send a message to his players."
Sundays game was a lot better for the OCN Blizzard after some rest.
The entire game looked more like a clone to the last matchup at the GLMC than the previous night. Things were tied thanks to goals from Dayden Kurbatoff, Riley Zimmerman and Kieran Cook. However a hope of an overtime period was cut just 33 seconds short as Matt Wisener scored the Terriers 4th and final goal to end the night.
