A Manitoba resident is taking the province to court to get the government to change its legislation to allow Manitobans to grow their own pot at home. Jesse Lavoie, is challenging a section of The Liquor, Gaming, and Cannabis Control Act, which bans the cultivation of cannabis in a home residence for personal use, which he filed an application for in August 2020.
