Flin Flon Bombers Games

The SJHLs Flin Flon Bombers are at home playing two games against the Kindersley Klippers. Game one goes tonight at 7:30 and on Saturday at the same time.

OCN Blizzard Weekend Games

The OCN Blizzard play their first of two games tonight at Stride Place against the Portage Terriers.


Game two will be played tomorrow night and both games begin at 7:30.

Norman Northstars Weekend Home Games

The Norman Northstars are set to open up the home portion of their 2018-2019 schedule this weekend as they host the Winnipeg Bruins.

The two teams will play tomorrow night at seven-30, then again Sunday at one-30.
The nor-man squad, who are captained by The Pas’ Hunter Rambow, come in after dropping
their first three games on the road.
The Northstars went oh and four agains the bruins last season.

MBCI Sports This Week

Last week the Margret Barbour Collegiate senior varsity boys and girls volleyball teams were in Roblin where both teams lost out in the semi finals.


The MBCI golfers took part in the provincial golf finals in Hecla and Wendy Cull from MBCI said they represented the school very well.


On October First the zone cross country finals were held and seven runners from MBCI qualified for the provincials.

Tough Start For The Norman Northstars

The Norman Northstars opened up the 2018-2019 Manitoba triple A midget hockey league season with three straight loses.The Nor-Man squad dropped a six nothing decision to the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday, before falling to the Yellowhead Chiefs three nothing on Saturday. Sunday saw the Northstars score their first goals of the season in a five two loss to the Parkland Rangers.

Good Weekend for The Flin Flon Bombers

The Flin Flon Bombers outscored Melville 13 to four over the weekend at the Whitney Forum.The Bombers pounded the Millionaires nine-one on Friday. Saturday’s game was decided by one goal, as Flin Flon took a four-three victory despite an attempted late Melville comeback.

OCN Blizzard Still Winless This Season

The OCN Blizzard are still winless following a pair of loses to the Portage Terriers. On Friday, the Terriers used a pair of power play goals and a short handed goal to beat the Blizzard four-three.  Saturday, Portage scored four unanswered goals en route to a five-two victory. The Blizzard,  still in search of their first win, will get their next shot on Friday as they head down to Portage for a rematch against the Terriers.
