The OCN blizzard has a chance to turn their three game winning streak into a five game streak when the face the Selkirk Steelers. The first game will be played tonight at 7:30 and tomorrow night at the same time.

The OCN Blizzard kept their winning streak alive when the beat the Dauphin Kings last night 7-3 at GLMC. They will have chance to make it a four game streak when they face the Steelers in Selkirk this Friday night. The Puck will drop at 7:30.

The OCN Blizzard are in action tonight at GLMC as they take on the Dauphin Kings. All the action starts at 7.

The OCN Blizzad won their season opener against the Wolverines on Friday night
beating them 2-1 on Friday night and they beat the Stampeders 3-2 on Saturday
night. They will have a chance to make it a three game winning streak tomorrow
night against dauphin at GLMC.

The OCN Blizzard volunteered at the Kelsey Community School Open House on September 19^th. Physical Education teacher Jared Hynes says the team has been participating in the event for the past few years and the students always have a good time with the Blizzard.

The season opener for the OCN Blizzard is tonight. They will face the Waywayseecappo Wolverines at GLMC at 7PM. Tomorrow the Blizzard will play another home game against the Stampeders at 7PM.

Next Wednesday The OCN Storm will be playing their first exhibition game against the Islanders in Cross Lake at 7:30 The two teams will  play each other again on the 29^th at GLMC.

The OCN Blizzard have a final skate day today as their regular season kicks off tomorrow night. The Blizzard will welcome the Waywayseecappo Wolverines to the GLMC for their season opener.  Season tickets are still available at the Blizzard office today. The office will be open from 1 until 7. Tickets for tomorrows game will be availabe at the gate.

The Pas Slo-Pitch League held an All Men’s and All Women’s tournament over the weekend. In the women’s division, First place winners were Weekend Warriors. Second place went to Grand Slam Me and the “B” side winners were Ravens. Fish Tubs took first place in the Men’s division. Paperworks Pounders finished second. The “B” Side winners were Blue Jays. Event organizer Shawna Hrappstead said it was a great weekend of baseball.

The OCN Blizzard wrapped up their pre-season with a second win in a row against their rival Swan Valley Stampeders. After winning against Swan Valley at the GLMC on the weekend, the Blizzard went to Swan River last night and got by the Stamps 5-4 in overtime. Elsewhere, Virden dumped Portage 5-2, and Winkler beat Winnipeg 3-1. The Blizzard will spend the next 9 days getting ready for their regular season home opener. They’ll welcome Waywayseecappo to the GLMC next Friday September 22^nd.

The OCN Blizzard will play their next preseason game against the Swan Valley Stampeders tonight at the Swan River Centennial Arena at 7:30. There first regular season home game is scheduled for September 22^nd

The Pas recreation and wellness centre will be having yoga classes on Mondays from September 25^th to December 18^th. Intermediate classes will run from 5:30 to 7PM and beginner and restorative classes will run from 7 until 8:30 PM. Cost to register is $180 for members and $204 for non-members. the whitney Forum 5-3. On Saturday nights game the Blizzard beat the Swan Valley
Stampeders 5-1 at the GLMC. The Blizzard will play their next pre season game
tomorrow night at the swan river centennial centre.

The OCN Blizzard Lost their First Exhibition Game to the Flin Flon Bombers last night 7-0. Their next home exhibition game will be played this Saturday against the Swan Valley Stampeders at 7PM.

Kelsey Recreation and The Pas Minor Hockey are running a young guns conditioning camp from September 11^th to October 6^th. The camp will feature Dry land and on ice training at The Pas Recreation and Wellness Centre RJH Arena.
