The Halcrow Lake Golf and Country Club is open for the 2020 golf season! According to Orin Rambo the course is dry and in perfect shape for a game.

Due to Covid-19 some adjustments have had to be made. the clubhouse and patio are open with a limit of 70 in the clubhouse and 20 on the patio. chairs will remain stacked for the time being as well.

prices remain the same as last year, $22 for a 9 hole game and a adult membership at $620.

The NFL has adopted use of the "Rooney Rule." this means whenever a team is interviewing for co-ordinator or head coach possitions the teams must interview minority candidates from outside of the organization.

teams will have to interview a minimum of two for head coach and one for co-ordinator possitions.

the rule is named after former Pittsburgh owner Dan Rooney.

The Pas Minor Baseball has announced the cancelation of the 2020 season due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

If you had registered your child or teen for the Pas Minor Baseball you may want to check your mail as refund cheques are being mailed out this week.

The AHL has made the decision to cancel the remainder of the 2019-2020 season. stating that completeing the season at a later date wouldn't be possible due to the Coronavirus pandemic. this will be the first time the Calder Cup wasn't awarded to a team since 1936.

The league is looking into possibly starting the 2020-21 season in september with empty stadiums.

Belgian soccer players and  their fans are being encouraged to participate in a virtual wave to support health-care workers and help raise money for the Red Cross during the Covid-19 pandemic. People are uploading short videos of them doing "the wave" until June 13th, the same day Beligum was supposed to play their first championship game.
