The Pas, Manitoba, November 25th, 2022 – After two years of not being able to offer this valuable community service, we are proud to announce that Operation Red Nose “Your Safe
Ride Home “, is back, and ready to hit the road in over 100 communities across Canada!
Together with our provincial partners, Manitoba Public Insurance, Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries, Wawanesa Insurance/Western Financial, Prairie Mobile Communications, The Pas Roadrunners Swim Club and its loyal group of volunteers are gearing up to provide an alternative option that is both safe and memorable to thousands of motorists who don’t feel fit or want to drive this holiday season.

Requesting a safe ride is simple! – Motorists can reach their local operation through the Operation Red Nose mobile app, and the national website at OperationRedNose.com.
The site also displays local information useful for motorists and volunteers who want to take part in this year’s campaign. Our local number is 204-623-3300.
Applying to Volunteer – The success of Operation Red Nose relies heavily on the amazing participation of thousands of volunteers who put on the red vest to help keep our community’s roads safer during the holiday season.
Volunteer applications are available at OperationRedNose.com and from our local RCMP detachment.
Volunteering for ORN is fun! A service that supports youth and amateur sport – While the service is provided for free of
charge, those who make a donation at the end of their ride help fund our local swim team, The Pas Roadrunners, and help keep swimming alive in northern Manitoba!
About Operation Red Nose – The Mission of Operation Red Nose is to encourage responsible behavior with regard to impaired driving in a non-moralistic manner by enabling communities to provide a free and confidential chauffeur service to their members, the financial benefits of
which are redistributed to local organizations deducted to youth, and invested in responsible
drinking and road safety awareness campaigns.
