The Northern Regional Health Authority held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, October 28th. During the meeting, they discussed their 2023-2028 strategic plan.

One of the priorities in their strategic plan is to eliminate indigenous-specific racism. Efforts towards this include expanding coaching and training for leaders and the creation of an indigenous workforce leader position.

Additional security staff were hired this year in Thompson to meet security needs and keep patients and staff safe.
