The Northland Ford Scares Hunger program is back in The Pas this year with the hopes of bringing in more food to help local food banks and kitchens so children and the vulnerable population won’t go hungry.
The team at Northland Ford is currently accepting donations of non-perishable food, water, toiletries and other essential items for school breakfast programs, local food banks, and the Friendship Centre.
Northland Ford's Glen O’Connell shares how some local businesses are getting involved.
Donations can be taken to Northland Ford on Highway 10 south of The Pas, and for larger donations you can call the dealership and have them come pick it up.
Oscar's Place Homeless Shelter is also collecting for the homeless and is looking for socks and other warm winter gear, and donations can be dropped off at the homeless shelter or at the CJAR offices.
