Library Month is celebrated every October, highlighting the vital role that libraries and library workers play in building strong communities. During Library Month, The Pas Regional Library is up against the Flin Flon Public Library for a book checkout challenge!

Here, The Pas Regional Library’s Head Librarian Dawn-Maire Blanchette explains how the challenge works.

Library cards are available for free to those living in The Pas or the Rural Municipality of Kelsey; otherwise, the annual fee for a library card is $25.00. Books can be checked out for up to 3 weeks, with a 12-book maximum.

The library is a busy place with several programs running, including a play group, D&D club, art club, and silent reading and writing sessions.

Stop by The Pas Regional Library throughout October and check out a book to help them beat Flin Flon in the book checkout challenge.
