Naloxone Training With The Opaskwayak Health Authority

The Opaskwayak Health Authority is offering Naloxone training sessions to learn how to administer this life-saving medication. Naloxone is a fast-acting medication that quickly reverses an opioid overdose.

The sessions will be offered on Thursday, October 8th and 22nd, in the Beatrice Wilson Health Center classroom at 245 Waller Road.

30-minute sessions will be held at 10:30 and 11:30 AM. In the afternoon, sessions are at 2:30 and 3:30 PM.

Learning how to help during an opioid overdose is valuable knowledge to have and can make the difference between life and death. For more information on the Naloxone training sessions, call Shawn at 204-627-7410.
