The RCMP are reminding the public to drive safely in school zones now that the kids are back in class.

RCMP The Pas Staff Sgt. Collin Stark has details.

Stark went on to say that when school buses have their stop signs engaged, drivers should remain an ample distance behind or in front of the bus and remain stopped until the signs are retracted for both directions of travel.

Remain focused on sudden and unexpected changes in the school zones and give yourself extra time to get through these areas safely, without the added pressure of being late.
