The Rod McGillivary Memorial Care Home and St.Paul’s Residence both recently received donations of $500 from 102.9 CJAR. The station ran its annual 100 Grand In Your Hand contest over the summer, collecting sponsorship from over 25 local businesses.
The donation to the care homes goes towards recreational programming. Quality of life for elders and seniors in the Pas and OCN is an area in the community that needs support.
