The Town of The Pas is highlighting the work of its Community Safety Officer program in its July monthly report.

CSOs recorded 747 public interactions throughout the month, along with 58 by-law actions and 36 property standards files.

Officers also removed 48 open liquor containers, responded to seven calls for assistance from the RCMP, provided five community transports, and dealt with ten animal control files resulting in impoundments.

The Town says regular patrols are helping increase visibility and community safety.
