Flin Flon RCMP have arrested two people following a reported impaired driver on Dominion Avenue Monday afternoon.

Police received a complaint shortly before two p.m. about a truck being driven erratically. The male driver reportedly ran a stop light and appeared to be falling asleep at the wheel before switching seats with a female passenger.

Officers quickly located the truck and stopped it. The 36-year-old woman behind the wheel failed two breath tests and was arrested for impaired operation. She was also issued a 90-day roadside prohibition.

A 38-year-old Saskatoon man was also arrested and faces several charges, including impaired driving, theft of a motor vehicle, and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police say the truck had been reported stolen. The investigation continues.
