Several different Swan River Valley organizations have come together to put on the Swan River Valley Agricultural Society’s Rally For The Valley event on Saturday, August 29th.

Their goal was to create a family-friendly event to celebrate their community, honour volunteers, and provide a fun day for everyone, without the expense of an admission fee. There is something for everyone to enjoy, including a pancake breakfast, parade, barrel racing, bingo, children's activities, live music, fireworks, and more.

Here, Lesley Sembaluk, the President of the Swan River Valley Agricultural Society, explains why it was important to make the event free to attend.
