102.9 CJAR wrapped up its annual contest “100 Grand In Your Hand” with the final draw on August 20th. The station collected sponsorships to support a needed area of The Pas and OCN community – the quality of life for elders and seniors.

Arctic Radio and CJAR were able to donate $1000 in total to local seniors’ homes recreation

programs.

Through both major sponsorship and minor sponsorship from over 25 local businesses, CJAR was able to deliver $500 to both St. Paul’s Residence and the Rod McGillivary Care Home.

102.9 CJAR has run the 100 Grand In Your Hand contest for eight years now and is looking forward to running the contest again next summer.
