A week-long cultural camp in Opaskwayak will offer young people a chance to learn traditional skills and spend time with local Elders.
The Back to the Land Youth and Elder Cultural Camp takes place August 23rd through 28th at the OCN Arbor Site.
Activities include bear grease making, Cree teachings, medicine teachings, assorted crafts, fishing and filleting, and land-based activities.
Youth ages six to 17 are welcome, although children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
