This Wednesday, July 15th, Tim Hortons locations across Canada will take part in Tim Hortons Camp Day, raising money to send underserved youth to camp.
Proceeds from any hot or iced coffee, take 12 coffee, or the Camp Day bracelet will go towards sending kids to camp. Supporters can also purchase a Camp Day badge for $2.
Kathryn Sanderson, the manager and owner of the Tri-community Tim Hortons, talks about the opportunities given to the kids who attend the camps.
After over 50 years of holding Tim Hortons Camp Days, nearly 350 000 kids have been sent to camp, gaining leadership skills, building self-esteem, and having life-changing experiences.
