02.9 CJAR is gearing up to run its biggest on-air contest of the year. The “100 Grand In Your Hand” contest qualifiers run from July 10th to August 14th, with the final draw taking place on August 20th. Here, Dianne Russel, the station’s general manager, talks about how the contest works:

The contest has been running annually since 2019. It began as an in-person contest and moved on air due to COVID-19. The contest raises money for seniors in The Pas, with CJAR donating money to personal care homes to aid with recreational programming.
