The “Protecting Our Elders In The North” workshop will be held at The Pas Friendship Center on July 11th and 18th from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. The free workshop, which is open to seniors only, is an interactive community workshop that aims to bring awareness to elder abuse. Participants will learn how to recognize, prevent, and respond to elder abuse in a safe and welcoming space. Here, Dr. Abdulmalik, the founder of Mamo Memorial Peace Foundation, explains the workshop’s purpose.
