CNIB Mobile Hub

For more than a century, CNIB has worked to support Canadians who are blind, partially sighted, or Deaf-blind by providing programs, advocacy, and access to resources that help improve quality of life.

That work is now rolling into The Pas with the CNIB Mobile Hub.

The event will offer accessible technology demonstrations, recreational programs, peer support opportunities, and services for individuals and families.

La-Toya Gibbons with the CINB shares on a brand new mobile eye screener that’s rolling out in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

The Non-invasive procedure takes about 30 seconds and will give more information about possible eye problems, and is really geared to younger children and first-time screenings

The Mobile Hub will be at the Oscar Lathlin Research Library at the UCN on Wednesday, July 8th, from 10 am until 2 pm.
