The Pas Friendship Centre is getting ready for the summer season this June by offering free family activities to help build connections and fond memories. These activities include free Powwow lessons and free family fun nights!
The Powwow lessons will be taught by Kanses and Kessin Michell-Thompson, and will be held every Tuesday in June from 4 to 6 PM. They’re open to all ages, and are held in The Pas Friendship Centre on 81 Edwards Avenue, where you can enter via the back doors.
The family fun nights will be open gyms, running every Wednesday in June from 4 to 6 PM, in the Wellness Centre’s court. It’s open to all ages, but children under 5 must be accompanied by their parents, you must provide your own transportation, and you are asked to bring a water bottle and wear indoor shoes.
You must also register or sign in when you arrive at either event. So have some fun with the family this June, thanks to The Pas Friendship Centre!
