The University of British Columbia is going to be holding an Indigenous-led research study here in northern Manitoba, and they want your input!

If you identify as indigenous, are 18 years of age or older, and have knowledge and/or experience growing and cultivating plants in the community, or even a home garden, they want to hear from you! They are looking to understand the relationships and connections between plants and culture, Indigeneity, land, and food sovereignty in Manitoba.

They will be holding one-on-one interviews to hear your stories, knowledge, experiences, and practises. The interviews will begin in June, and can be held over the phone, via video call, or in person, and they will also be holding group listening circles in The Pas and Winnipeg. Participants will receive an honoraria of $200 for their participation in the study.
