The Pas Health Complex’s radio pledge show aired last Thursday and Friday here on 102.9 CJAR.

 

The focus of the pledge show was to raise enough funds to buy new equipment for local medical institutions.

 

This equipment included five new fetal heart monitors for Obstetrics, an upright blanket warmer for the Emergency Department, and two new air mattress systems for the Acute Care Inpatient Unit.

 

Ultimately, 16-thousand dollars was raised over the two days, falling 9-thousand dollars short of the pledge goal of 25-thousand dollars.

 

The Pas Health Complex thank everyone who generously donated during the show. The money raised will help improve the quality of our local medical care.
