The Northern Manitoba Trappers Festival wrapped up Sunday, and organizers are sending a huge thank-you to all the volunteers, sponsors, and contributors who helped make this year’s event a success.
Crowned 2026 Fur Queen is Reegan Dick. Ally Finnerty was named First Princess, and Kiana Cook took home the title of Second Princess.
This year’s King Trapper is Lantz Heibert, and Queen Trapper is Clarissa Burns.
In the junior categories, Odin Cooper and Laine Conners claimed the top honours.
In dog sled racing, Annie Malo placed first in the 10-Dog Championship Race, while Jason Cote captured the top spot in the 6-Dog Jack McPhail event.
Congratulations as well to Mike Young and Michelle Richards, this year’s big 50/50 winners.
And once again, a big shout-out to everyone who supported the festival. The Northern Manitoba Trappers Festival returns in 2027.
