The RM of Kelsey has planned community open house meetings at the end of February, focusing on fire safety and creating a Fire Smart environment in and around your home.
There will be a presentation from the Fire Operations Manager with Manitoba Natural Resources on how to Fire Smart your home, a presentation from the Wildfire Superintendent with Manitoba Wildfire Service, and a presentation from the Regional Emergency Manager, who is the EMO representative for the North.
Meetings will be held February 24 at the Wanless Community Hall, February 25 at the Carrot Valley Community Hall, and February 26 at the Cranberry Portage Legion Hall, all running from 7 to 9 p.m.
