The Northern Health Region is hosting a resistance band exercise class starting February 23.
Resistance band training is a form of strength training that uses elastic bands to create tension and resistance. It’s versatile, portable, joint-friendly, and effective for building strength, muscle tone, mobility, and endurance.
The four-week program will take place at the library on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 2 p.m. The classes are free to attend, and resistance bands will be provided.
