RCMP and Winnipeg Police partnered in a joint operation from December 8 to 11, 2025, to arrest prolific and violent offenders with outstanding warrants in the Flin Flon, The Pas, and Opaskwayak Cree Nation area.

 

The Manitoba Integrated Violent Offender Apprehension Unit, with support from other police services, targeted 23 wanted individuals.

 

Five people were arrested on charges including robbery, assault, weapons offences, and failing to comply with release orders.

 

Four of them were found in Flin Flon, and one was located in the Opaskwayak Cree Nation.

 

Four were taken into custody without incident, while one man from Flin Flon was caught after trying to run away.

 

The other 18 individuals are still at large.
