On Monday in the early afternoon, Oxford House RCMP assisted First Nation Safety Officers with the arrest of a 23-year-old woman at the airport.
She had arrived on a commercial flight and was detained for being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
During a search, officers found a concealed package containing 64 grams of cocaine and 102 pills believed to be oxycodone, with a total estimated street value of $41,000 in the Bunibonibee Cree Nation.
The woman was arrested and taken to the Oxford House RCMP Detachment.
She has been released and is scheduled for a court appearance, facing three counts of Possession for the purpose of trafficking.
