On November 11, 2025, at 8:45 pm, Thompson RCMP responded to a report of an injured 27-year-old man who sought medical help at a residence on McGill Place.

The man was taken to the hospital for surgery and is currently in stable condition.

The investigation revealed that he was stabbed by a 22-year-old male who has since fled the scene.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Brayden Charlette, also 22, from Thompson, who faces charges of aggravated assault.
