The Festival of Trees is happening this weekend at the Ecole Opasquia School, and everyone’s invited to come and get in the festive spirit.

 

The 2-day event will kick off on Friday night with an evening of elegant desserts, food, performances, and a viewing of the trees.

 

On Saturday, the public viewing will take place from noon to 3 pm.

 

North Poll carnival stations will be set up for kids, and gingerbread house displays and baked goods will be set up in Miss Claus's tea room.

 

Santa Claus will also be in attendance, and families can take their own photos.

 

They are still in need of last-minute volunteers and baked goods for the tea room, to help contact the Ecole Opasquia.
