RCMP are investigating following the death of a 15-year-old on the Opaskwayak Cree Nation that took place on November 1st.

Officers and EMS were called to a residence where the female was pronounced dead.

The death is being investigated as a homicide.

On November 4th, an arrest was made of a 17-year-old female also from the OCN who was charged with manslaughter and remanded into custody.

MFNPS, along with the Manitoba RCMP, are continuing to investigate.
