Film Training The Pas

Film Training Manitoba is expanding north with a series of Master Classes that will be held in northern and rural communities in the province.

The Northern Diverse Creators Program was specifically designed to support and provide access to smaller communities.

Adam Smoluk, executive director for film training in Manitoba, says they often offer online classes and programs, along with in-person training in Winnipeg and Brandon, but this new program is designed to give small communities access to these opportunities.

Kevin Nikkle, a filmmaker and teacher from Brandon, will host a class in town that focuses on skill development, industry insights, and the steps to bringing your own documentary project to life.

The Class runs at the Wescana on October 30th from 10 am to 12:30 pm and is free for everyone to attend.
