The Tri Community Foundation is gearing up for its AGM; everyone is welcome to attend the event on October 6th at 7 pm at the UCN in The Pas.
The foundation is new but growing rapidly; the group’s secretary, Don Dunigan, said this year they were able to make donations to nine organizations in the community, amounting to over $ 10,000.
The fund is now over $ 200,000 and continues to grow.
The giving challenge is returning in November, and during that period, donations will be matched by both Winnipeg and Manitoba foundations, resulting in three times the donation.
