How to use funding from the Province has been on the agenda with the town staff.

 

Nine projects are being debated to narrow down the allocation of funding.

 

The Town of The Pas Mayor talks about what the council has been leaning towards.

 

"The roads around Bagshaw, Reader, and Trager and such have been on our list. We've been talking about doing something there even next year, so that's sort of where it's looking like we'll probably focus on. But there are other great things, like developing new areas, recreation brought forward some stuff about rubberizing  the track, which has been talked about for probably 20 years."

 

Upgrades to the Arena, as well as possible equipment at the fire hall, have also been considered.

 

The Next meeting is on September 22nd and is open to the public.
