A male in The Pas is in custody following a homicide that took place at Clearwater Lake on Saturday, August 30th.

Just before Midnight, the RCMP got the report of a Disturbance at a Residence, and while on scene, they were directed to the injured 31-year-old female outside of the home.

She was transported to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries several days later.

35-year-old Walter Leach was initially charged with aggravated assault, but those charges have now been upgraded to manslaughter.

RCMP investigations are ongoing.
