There are still two individuals at large, following a vehicle chase in Cross Lake.

 

RCMP attempted a traffic stop in the community on Saturday in the early evening, following reports that community members were being threatened with a handgun.

 

When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, it fled.

 

Officers determined that the SUV had been stolen, and it was abandoned a short distance later behind a high school, where four individuals were seen exiting it and fleeing into a wooded area.

 

With assistance from drones and RCMP Police Dog Services, they were able to apprehend two of the four suspects.

 

The RCMP is still looking for the remaining two.
