The Pas Fire Department is seeking recruits, and if you want to help make a difference in your community, now’s the time.

 

An open house is taking place this Friday at the fire hall, and they are inviting anyone who has ever been interested in becoming a member to attend.

 

There will be hands-on opportunities to try out some of the tools and equipment the department uses, as well as the chance to chat with current members and learn more about their experiences.

 

The meet and greet will take place at the fire hall from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

 

Bring the kids along as well for live demonstrations.

 

As always, the department encourages you to practice fire safety by checking for working Fire alarms monthly and preparing an escape plan to practice with your children.
