Classes in Cranberry Portage had to be put on hold on Monday when a suspicious device was found at the community educational facility.
On Monday, RCMP in Cranberry Portage responded to the report.
Staff members discovered, while prepping for the return of students, that a taped-up metal pipe that resembled a pipe bomb had been discovered.
The RCMP’s Explosive Disposal Unit was called in to remove the device, which was taken to a safe location and disposed of.
It was found not to contain any explosive material.
RCMP investigations are ongoing.
