Nominations are in for the upcoming OCN Election.

 

The candidates for chief include incumbent Maureen Brown, Former Chiefs Sidney Ballantyne and Christian Sinclair, Jennifer Flett, Ken Lathlin, and Michael Constant.

 

Twenty-nine names appeared on the list for nominations for councillor, including current councillors Frank Young, Justin Spence, John Paul Martin, Dale Knutson, Courtney Hester, Chris Young, and Justin Spence.

 

All candidates nominated have until June 16th to either accept or decline the nomination.

 

After that, nominees will have until June 18th to apply for all the proper documents.

 

The candidates' list will be updated and posted again on June 19th, followed by the candidates' orientation on the 19th and 20th.
