Yesterday was the 100th anniversary of the United Church of Canada, and it was celebrated with events nationwide.

In The Pas, a gathering took place over the weekend to celebrate the rich history of the Church and its pivotal role in issues like Indigenous rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and environmental sustainability.

The Church also acts as an event hub for dance groups, theatre groups, fundraisers, and more, as being a part of the community is one of their fundamental goals.

This weekend, the Church is hosting an indoor yard sale Friday from 5 to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm Donations, excluding clothing, will be accepted Thursday morning.
