Firearms incident in Thompson

On Sunday, April 27th, RCMP in Thompson got a report of a firearm being discharged on Princeton Drive.

 

Early in the morning, the victim reported that a taxi had stopped nearby, and 2 men exited and proceeded to shout and chase the victim.

 

The victim noticed one of the suspects carrying a handgun and began to fire.

 

The victim was not injured and managed to escape.

 

Upon reviewing footage from the area, officers were able to confirm that one of the suspects was carrying a firearm, and they were able to identify him, although neither of the suspects has been located yet.
