Getting Better Together

Dealing with chronic health conditions can be difficult; the Northern Health Region wants to let you know you are not alone and options are available.

Getting Better Together has been active in the community for over a decade.

The Program is designed to teach skills that can help manage chronic health conditions.

Anyone with an ongoing health issue is welcome to attend the weekly meetings; caregivers and spouses are also welcome.

The Program will run on Wednesday evenings for 6 weeks starting on March 17th.

The Living Well lunch series will run on the 6th, 17th, and 26th from 12 to 12:45 at the Good Thymes Restaurant.

The lunch sessions will discuss mental health strategies for self-care, four secrets to becoming active, and the Mediterranean diet for the North.

The Program runs at the Pas primary health care center every Wednesday evening starting March 19th for 6 weeks.

The Program is free. To register, contact Russell Thorne at 204 627 6419 or email rthorne@nrha.ca.
