One of the coldest Northern Manitoba Trappers Festivals in years has wrapped up, and thanks are being given to everyone who braved the cold to participate in this year’s event.
Due to cold weather Saturday night, the crowning of the queen was moved indoors.
All of this year’s contestants made a considerable effort towards the event’s success, but only one could be named fur queen.
This year’s fur queen is Autumn Graff, Krissy Kirkness was named first Princess, and Trinity Flett won second Princess.
This year’s King Trapper is John Hendrickson, and Clarissa Burns won the Queen Trapper title.
The junior Trapper awards went to Lanie Connors and Colin Perchaluk.
