A quantity of drugs and firearms was removed from the Chemawawin Community last Saturday, February 8th.

 

RCMP got the call about a suspicious vehicle in the community.

 

The vehicle was stopped, and two males from Sothern, Ontario, were detained.

 

With the assistance of Police service dogs, a Handgun, Cash, and approximately half a kilo of cocaine were found.

 

Facundo Guerra, 37, and Horace Hunter, 22, both of Brampton, Ontario, were remanded into custody on several charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking.

 

Both are expected to make court appearances in The Pas this week.

 

Investigations are ongoing.
