The Northern Manitoba Trappers Festival is less than a week away starting on February 12th.
The opening ceremonies will kick off the event and the crowning of the fur queen to help wrap it up.
They are looking for last-minute volunteers to help build the ice fort.
Volunteers are also needed to help at the ice bar, which will be set up during the festival.

The event and festival headquarters will open on Wednesday morning with registration for king and queen trappers.
Opening ceremonies take place at 12:15 at the Ice Fort.
Clues for ice worms will be released, and the Torchlite parade will take place Wednesday night starting at 7:30.
