Housing projects, new public works equipment, and a special service levy for RCMP costs were among the topics discussed at this week’s council meeting.
There was a presentation from Queens Community Court in regards to a housing project going on across the country, and how the town could benefit from it.
A financing policy to entice and support economic development with investors and tax breaks related to business development was also discussed; the policy will also have a smaller impact on community taxation.
