Sunday morning RCMP in The Pas received information about a shooting that had taken place at an apartment on Cathedral Avenue in the Pas.
When officers arrived on scene they found a 42-year-old male in the stairwell suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body, witnesses reported 2 male suspects fleeing the scene.
The victim was life-flighted to Winnipeg where he remains in stable condition awaiting further treatment.
RCMP in The Pas has issued an arrest warrant for Darcy Campbell, 26 of MCN, who has been charged with various offences including aggravated assault and discharge of firearm with intent.
