On Tuesday Morning The Pas Fire Department was called to help with a fire at an intersection on Highway 283 and 282 towards the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border.
When the department arrived on scene they found that a fire had broken out near the rear right wheel of a tractor-trailer.
The fire blocked traffic heading both ways for several hours before being cleared.
The Pas Fire Department along with Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure stayed on scene until approximately 11 am.
