On Sunday as a result of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking Kisematawa First Nation, Shamattawa RCMP conducted a search at a residence on Bear Avenue.
The search led to officers seizing cocaine, oxycodone, alprazolam, numerous other illicit pills and over 40,000 dollars.
The investigation also led to the arrest of three individuals, a 23-year-old male and two females, ages 39 and 30, from the community, who remain in police custody.
Investigations are ongoing.
